God was faithful. He is faithful. He remains faithful forever because He has not changed, He will not change and He cannot change. Malachi 3:6. He is bound by His words. As a matter of fact, His word carries His nature. He is One with His word. Whenever we put His word in our heart, we put God in our heart. We do not need to look for clues and signs to validate whatever God says.
“I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” – Psalm 138:2
As powerful as the name of the Lord (Proverb 18:10) is, He has made His word bigger than all His name. He is too faithful to change His word. He has vowed to keep His word. He said:
“For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.” – Matthew 5:18
“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” – Matthew 24:35
Imagine the solidity of a rock, the seeming establishment of a mountain and naturally immovable state of the ocean; the word of God is more solid and stable than all. Every physical thing on the earth will roll away like a mat but the word of God must deliver the purpose.
Brethren, what says the word of God concerning the situation that you are going through now? When and if you can find it from the Bible, there shall be a reward, your expectation shall not be cut off. Proverbs 24:14. God will never allow any challenge to overwhelm you. He said it in His word.
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” – I Corinthians 10:13
God has made a way of escape for you from whatever situation that is confronting you now. You cannot be swallowed up by the situation; you are coming out victorious from that situation. Your testimony will become a reference point to the world.
